Is it better to repair or replace?
It depends how much life the rest of the roof has. If the damage is contained and the other slopes are sound, a repair is the better spend. We will tell you which situation you are in after we have been on the roof.
Will a repair match my existing shingles?
Usually, if the product is still made. Weathering means a repair is rarely invisible, and we will say so up front rather than after.
How long does a repair last?
A properly detailed repair lasts as long as the surrounding roof does. What does not last is sealant smeared over failed flashing.
Can you repair just one slope?
Yes. If a single slope took the damage, there is no reason to touch the rest.
Do you charge for the inspection before a repair?
No. The inspection and the estimate are free, with photographs of whatever we find.
